The doors are open for those who want to gain German language skills in Western Rwanda

ECL German | Rwanda, represented by Der Sprachen Hub – German Language School, and the Training Center for Languages (TCL) are pleased to inform those who want to improve or gain German language skills that it has opened additional branches in the Western Province in Rugerero sector Rubavu District

This partnership is a major step in expanding access to internationally recognized German language qualifications and quality language training in Rwanda, especially in the Western Province.

Empowering students across the region:

Through this partnership, new students, current graduates, and former participants of the German Language Program at TCL Rugerero will receive comprehensive support, including:

• Assistance with writing and registering for exams
• Professional coaching on the ECL exam format, structure, and time management
• Discounted tuition for upcoming ECL German exam courses

Dr. Phocas Niwemushumba, Academic Director at Der Sprachen Hub and Deputy Director of the ECL German | Rwanda Testing Center, said: “
This partnership demonstrates our desire to expand access to internationally recognized German qualifications and strengthen academic collaboration to empower more students in Rwanda.”

Marie Claire Ndatimana, German teacher and exam coach at Der Sprachen Hub, and the first candidate to pass the C1 ECL German exam (February session), adds: “Good preparation and good academic guidance make success possible. Through this partnership, many students will gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed in international German exams.”

Knowledge exchange to improve quality

The partnership will also include knowledge exchange between the two institutions to further improve the quality and quantity of German language education.

According to Marie Grace Ishimwe, Director of Administration at the ECL German Exam Center | Rwanda, explained, “We are delighted to support candidates throughout the exam process and ensure that more students can obtain a clear, professional, and internationally recognized language qualification.”

Some of the candidates who successfully completed the course in February shared their thoughts with their peers:

• Flower Ackdat, the first candidate to pass the B2 ECL German exam, said: “With the right preparation and support, reaching B2 is possible. I encourage other students to remain committed to achieving their goals.”

• Egide, the first candidate to pass the B1 ECL German exam, added: “This goal shows that dedication and proper coaching lead to success. I encourage more students to seize this opportunity.”

• Mr. William, Director of TCL Rubavu, emphasizes: “Our partnership with Der Sprachen Hub and ECL German Exam Center opens up new opportunities for young people in Western Rwanda to access quality German education and international qualifications.”
