Yirunga Ltd Officially Announces the 2026 Kivu Beach Expo & Festival and Yirunga Festivals Calendar
Yirunga Ltd has officially unveiled the highly anticipated schedule for the 2026 Kivu Beach Expo & Festival and Yirunga Festivals, a nationwide series of events aimed at promoting tourism, culture, entertainment, sports, business, and community unity across Rwanda.
The 2026 calendar features a vibrant lineup of festivals and expos that will take place in several districts across the country, bringing together thousands of participants through music performances, exhibitions, sports competitions, cultural showcases, and entertainment activities.
This year’s events will be held under the theme: “Celebrate Culture, Tourism & Togetherness,” highlighting the importance of cultural pride, tourism promotion, and social unity.
According to the organizers, the campaign is expected to reach more than 10 million people both locally and internationally through media coverage, television, radio, digital platforms, and strategic partnerships.
Kivu Beach Expo & Festival 2026 Schedule
The Kivu Beach Expo & Festival will take place in the following locations:
Karongi — June 12–21, 2026 at Bwishyura Ground
Rubavu — July 9–19, 2026 at Gisenyi Public Beach
Rusizi — July 24 – August 2, 2026 at Rusizi Taxi Park
Rutsiro — August 14–17, 2026 at Rutsiro Kivu Beach
The events are expected to attract large audiences including local residents, tourists, artists, business exhibitors, sports enthusiasts, and various community organizations.
Yirunga Expo & Festival 2026 Schedule
The Yirunga Expo & Festival (Culture & Community Experience) will also be hosted in different regions of Rwanda:
Nyagatare — August 20–23, 2026 at Hollywood/Rwiniriyaga Nyagatare
Rwamagana — September 1–4, 2026 at Avega Motel Ground
Musanze — December 24–26, 2026 at Ubworohereane Stadium
